What are trademark classes?
When filing a trademark, you must specify for which goods and/or services trademark registration is being sought.
These goods and services are divided into 45 classes in accordance with the Nice classification system. For example, computer software falls in class 9. Failure to classify your goods and services according in the correct may cause problems for your trademark application during registration.
